FREMAR LLC/Central Farmers Coop would like to notify patrons of the following scholarship opportunities.
 



2018 CFC Scholarship Program
Central Farmers Cooperative offers $1000.00 scholarships to graduating seniors whose parents are
current producer members of the coop.
The student applying should be enrolled in a South Dakota post-secondary education school and
must be pursuing a career in agriculture.
The scholarship is based on scholastic achievement, leadership in agriculture and
perceived ability to contribute to agriculture in the future.
Applications were due March 16, 2018.

Scholarships for Agriculture Students
The South Dakota Agri-Business Association each year awards scholarships to students
majoring in an agriculture related field at an accredited South Dakota university or technical school.
The applicant must be a customer, employee or family member of a
business belonging to the South Dakota Agri-Business Association (SDABA).
Applications must be received by March 1 each year.

Scholarships are available to applicants whose parents are members of South Dakota Farmers Union.

South Dakota Farmers Union Foundation
The South Dakota Farmers Union Foundation scholarship is available to continuing full-time students who are pursuing their graduate degree in an accredited agriculture-related field
and who show a strong interest in working in South Dakota upon completion of their degree.

America's Farmers Grow Ag Leaders
Sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, America's Farmers Grow Ag Leaders awards $1,500.00 scholarships to students furthering their eduation in an agriculture-related field.

You do not have to be an FFA member to apply.

 


The following local high school seniors are the 2018 recipients of the Central Farmers Agricultural $1000 Scholarship. 
Award criteria consisted of scholastic achievement, leadership in agriculture and
perceived ability to contribute to agriculture in the future. 
Each scholarship winner plans to attend a South Dakota post-secondary school and pursue a career in agriculture.
